How to find us

Car parking

The only parking spaces available to patients in the Surgery car park are the two spaces for use by disabled patients.   The remainder of the Surgery car park is allocated for the practice's staff, and those of the neighbouring dental practice staff.    There are also four spaces which belong to Kennet Pharmacy.

There is plenty of parking available in the nearby public car park, and there is additional on-street parking in George Lane.  Also, we are willing for patients who are very unwell to park in the car park, provided they explain that they have done so to a Receptionist.

We regret that we do not have sufficient space to provide parking for patients in the Surgery car park - for a fuller discussion please see the article on parking in the page of "Frequently asked questions".

Zero tolerance policy

The practice does not tolerate abusive or violent behaviour towards any member of the practice team.

The practice will immediately remove from its list any patient who is physically violent;  the practice may also remove from its list any patient who is verbally abusive to a member of the practice team.

Change of address

It is important that you let the practice know if you change your address or telephone number.  If you move to an address outside the practice area you will normally be asked to register with another practice.  Occasionally, exceptions to the request to re-register may be made on clinical grounds.

Change of doctor

You may request to be registered with a different doctor - you can make such a request to change verbally to one of our Receptionists. or in writing to the Practice Manager.   If there is a specific reason for your request it is helpful if it can be mentioned.

The new doctor's agreement will be sought, and, subject to his or her agreement, your registration will be transferred and you will be informed.
